How it Works
Apply
Complete the membership application to express your interest in joining. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and are reviewed as positions become available. Vacancies will be announced to the public as they occur. Tell us a little about yourself and your connection to the special education community.
Review & Confirmation
We will review your application using a rubric to ensure fairness, diversity, and fit for the Committee. If your application meets the initial screening process, you’ll receive an email with next steps, which may include a short virtual conversation with SECAC members.
Activate & Onboard
If selected for membership, you'll be onboarded to SECAC to begin your 2-year Special Education advisory role to put children first in Frederick County public education!
